Terms of Use

By creating an account, joining a lobby, or otherwise using Grid Pro: Energy Empire, you agree to follow these terms and the Community Rules that apply to shared play. Acceptance is required to access solo or multiplayer gameplay — if you do not accept, you will be returned to the home page and cannot play.

Keep your account credentials private. You are responsible for activity taken through your account and must provide accurate information where the service asks for it. We may change, pause, reset, or retire game features, worlds, and early-access content as the product evolves, without prior notice.

Lakeshore Grid Control (LGC) runs an approximate game model. Its power flow, weather, reliability, pricing, emissions, technology, asset, and mission outputs are simplified for gameplay and learning. They are not measurements, forecasts, recommendations, guarantees, or professional conclusions about any real utility, supplier, project, or grid.

Learning material may introduce real-world concepts, but it does not create a professional qualification, engineering credential, or accredited certification. Always seek qualified professional advice for real-world decisions.

Do not disrupt shared lobbies or other players. This includes cheating, exploiting bugs for advantage, using unauthorized bots or automation, attempting to bypass security, harassing others, impersonating people or organizations, scraping the service, or accessing data that is not yours.

If you find a security issue or exploit, please report it privately instead of using or publishing it. We may investigate abuse and take proportionate action, including removing game advantages, suspending access, or closing accounts where appropriate and permitted by law.

Maintaining acceptable conduct is a requirement to hold your account in good standing. You must not use Grid Pro: Energy Empire to post, send, display, or promote hate speech, racial slurs, discriminatory or dehumanizing language, threats, sexual or violent content, targeted harassment, or any other material that demeans a person or group based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics. This applies to display names, chat, lobby communication, suggestions, and any other player-visible content.

We may review, remove, or hide offending content at any time. Violations may result in content deletion, a warning, a temporary suspension, a permanent ban, and deletion of all data associated with your account — without prior notice and to the extent permitted by law. Because acceptable conduct is a condition of keeping your account, accounts used for hate speech or harassment are not entitled to continued access, data retention, or a refund of any in-game balance. Reporting a genuine concern in good faith will never be held against you.

Grid Pro: Energy Empire's software, simulation rules, artwork, writing, visual design, names, logos, and other content are owned by or licensed to Lakeshore Blvd Studios and protected by applicable intellectual-property and copyright laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable permission to use the service as intended.

You may not copy, reproduce, redistribute, sell, rent, lease, lend, sublicense, create derivative works from, publicly display, publicly perform, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or commercially exploit Grid Pro: Energy Empire or any part of its content, except where applicable law expressly permits it.

Unauthorized reproduction, copying, distribution, or exploitation of the software, simulation rules, artwork, writing, or other content may constitute copyright infringement and intellectual-property theft, and may be subject to civil and criminal liability. If you submit feedback, suggestions, or permitted player content, you keep your rights in it while allowing us the limited right needed to operate, improve, and display the service.

We use the information necessary to operate accounts, shared gameplay, safety tools, and support. Optional marketing, partner communications, and non-essential analytics are separate choices; they are not required to play. You can update your cookie preferences at any time from the Cookie Settings link in the footer.

Sponsored content, if introduced, will be identified. Sponsors cannot purchase stronger LGC physics, research outcomes, assessment results, or access to individual player data without a separate, clear lawful basis.

Grid Pro: Energy Empire is provided as an evolving online service. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lakeshore Blvd Studios does not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, preservation of every game state, or that the service will meet every player's needs.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lakeshore Blvd Studios is not responsible for decisions or losses arising from reliance on Grid Pro: Energy Empire's simulated outputs, nor for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages connected with use of the service. Nothing in these terms removes rights or liability that applicable law does not allow us to exclude or limit.

We may update or modify these terms at any time, at our sole discretion, and without prior notice or direct communication to you. Changes may reflect product evolution, legal requirements, safety, or operational needs.

When the terms change, the version and effective date above will be updated. Before continuing to access solo or multiplayer gameplay, you will be prompted to accept the current version. If you do not accept the updated terms, you will be returned to the home page and cannot play until you accept. Continued use after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

It is your responsibility to review the current version periodically. The latest terms are always available at this page.
